SingShot has taken off in the online world because it lets members access songs for free. In order to rate or comment on another member’s performance, all you have to do is sign up. However, if you’re looking to record your own songs you’ll have to pay a membership fee. You can get a free two-week trial membership first to see how interested you are in the community.

When you sign up, you create a profile so that your ‘fans’ and SingShot friends can learn all about you. You can provide all kinds of information such as a description of yourself and your sound. You can even upload a picture so that other Karaoke fans can see what their favorite stars look like.

Another great community building feature is the ability to contact other members. While your email address isn’t freely given out to members, they can send you a message through your profile using your SingShot username. They can request you record a song or offer you feedback on your performances. If you connect with another member you can add each other to your favorites list and always have access to their latest recordings.

SingShot also offers ‘My Studio’ which is a space where you can keep all your own recorded performances. You can organize your songs and communicate with other members. ‘My Studio’ is a space just for you that you can use to practice all your vocal stylings.
